You have to wonder what the deal is behind creating new technologies that straight-up price humans out of the game.
Take “Shanice” for example, a holographic receptionist at the council offices which now saves the company about 6,500 USD a year.
That’s right, once the firm purchased Shanice outright for the equivalent of 8,500 USD, within months the computer hologram became pure profit–minus the power bill of course as now there is no more need for a human presence.
