A brilliant 18-year-old has been rewarded handsomely for the amazing video that he made explaining Einsteins’s theory of relativity.

If Einstein’s theory of relativity leaves you baffled and if you are utterly confounded by Interstellar, you must watch this brilliant video made by an 18-year-old from Ohio.

Ryan Chester submitted his video for the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, which invites students aged 13-18 to share their passion for math and science with the world. The competition received over 2,000 applications from 86 countries. Ryan wrote the script, filmed, edited, and created all the visual effects and motion graphics for this video.

For his efforts, he won $400,000 – $250,000 of which will go towards a scholarship, $50,000 to his teacher Richard Nestoff and $100,000 for his school to fund a science lab. Impressive and very cool!
