Wow..I knew about this already, but this really drives home just how extreme it is. Most people simply have no idea...they are not paying attention. I always find this extreme wealth inequity maddening, but feel powerless to change it. Any ideas?

Yea I agree. The only three things specific we can do is start making better decisions about cooperations we support when we buy things and shop for groceries. Also send this video to everyone in your contacts on email, twitter or Facebook and get It to go viral. Lastly begin growing your own food and teach other people they can.

"All for one, one for all". That would be a a cool change, instead of "All for one, none for all". Time for a cool change. I voted this up, but the sad reality is that it should be voted down because it is sad but, true.
Seems like we need to build a new kind of wealth that can't be gamed with stock markets and derivatives and offshore tax shelters. Seems like the biggest issue here is that our current debt/money/finance system is inherently game-able.
Lots of people suggest gold as currency and I guess precious metals are better than imaginary paper money. Could we get currency backed by something real and useful, like clean energy?
