Women worldwide are uprising! Women on multiple social media platforms are starting to surge as one voice on a rising issue. The complaint? Viewing male chest and nipples is acceptable but bare chested female breast and nipples get barred, banned, flagged or reported.

In a recent response and calling foul on this societal issue, activist and artists Micol Hebron posted a picture of a man’s nipple to her Facebook page. Beneath the image was this caption:

“Here you go — you can use this to make any photo of a topless woman acceptable for the interwebs! Use this ‘acceptable (male) nipple template’, duplicate, resize and paste as needed, to cover the offending female nipples, with socially acceptable male nipples (like a digital pasty). You’re welcome.”

Hard to argue with the logic of their stance. It is clearly a double standard that is a cultural legacy far more than a legal one.
