For the first time in 170 years the British Parliament is going to debate how money is created. Amazing! Debate will be broadcast live on Thursday, Nov. 20, starting between 12:30 and 1 pm GMT, or 07:30 EST on the Parliament channel: http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Main/Home.aspx

>Money has been created out of thin air for decades. Where did the Federal Reserve suddenly come up with 700 billion to bail the banks out? But some countries take advantage of it, such as Greece and Spain. Others end up having to “borrow” money when they really have no capacity to repay it. In the end, world economies end up being so unfair to the average person, and to poor countries. The rich can wallow in trillions, while the poor barely get enough to eat. I hope the debate gets widely reported and opens some eyes and generates some discussion.[rytis](http://www.reddit.com/user/rytis)
