Comcast and Time Warner are without doubt the 2 worse customers service oriented companies in America. This is attested to by it’s customers and ALL rating organizations.
“If you think profanities are abundant on Comcast and Time Warner’s customer service calls, check out the expletive excess on Yelp, Facebook and other social media. In the immortal words of the actor and Twitter celebrity Patrick Stewart: “All I wanted to do was set up a new account with @TWCable_NYC but 36hrs later I’ve lost the will to live.””
It always happens, a company becomes so large that it no longer “cares” what the customer thinks. They operate however they want when they want. Much similar to how a bully who is larger than you operates.
So when a bully is allowed to join with another bully and he becomes they BIGGEST bully on the block this is called a monopoly and it is not fun for ANYONE!
Harold Feld of Public Knowledge, a consumer advocacy group. had this to say: “When you put two bad companies together, they don’t remain equally bad. They get worse. And there’s a multiplier effect. Instead of just bad plus bad, you get badness squared.”
Prices will likely increase and competitors will be obliterated.
