The CDC is ever diligent about reporting vital statistics and for the most part they do an amazing job at tracking American mortality rates.
The below are Top 7 leading causes of death according to CDC.
Heart disease: 597,689
Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 138,080
Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 129,476
Accidents (unintentional injuries): 120,859
Alzheimer’s disease: 83,494
When you check the CDC site you will find these and many more statistics all of which are eye opening and thought provoking. But there is one leading cause of death that never appears on the honor roles.
The cause is called Iatrogenisis
The word “iatrogenic” comes from the Greek roots “iatros” meaning “the healer or physician” + “gennan” meaning “as a product of” = due to the doctor.
Some iatrogenic errors are easily identified, such as a complication following a surgical procedure. Some errors are less obvious and require significant investigation to identify, such as complex drug interactions.
Direct causes of iatrogenesis include: medical errors, negligence, social control and the adverse effects or interactions of prescription drugs. In the United States an estimated 98,000 to 325,000 deaths per year may be attributed to iatrogenesis making the medical establishment (hospitals, emergency rooms, pharmaceutical companies, doctors, nurses and more) to be the third leading cause of death in the United States. These numbers are directly related to death and do not include the numbers related to the many other negative effects of Iatrogenesis such as disability, injuries and discomfort that are also associated to Iatrogenesis.
The total death count is hard to pin down for many reasons, but the primary reason these facts are hidden and not being broadcast by the media or government are greed and corruption.
The easiest way to avoid the 3rd leading cause of death is simple:
###Avoid The Medical Establishment
