For four years, Steve Flaig, a delivery-truck driver at a Lowe’s store, had searched for his birth mother.

Imagine his surprise when he found her working the cash register at the front of the store.

When he turned 18 he decided to search for his birth mother and found out that she had left the adoption records “open”, which meant that she wanted to be found.

This was encouraging news. After many years of seraching he found out he had been spelling her last name wrong. When he typed the proper name he found out that she lived 1 mile from his Lowes store.

He spoke with his boss and was told someone with the same name worked at the store.

He was stunned and unsure how to approach her so he went to the adoption agency and the rest is history.

It can sometimes be a very small world and even when it seems like a “BIG” world, NEVER give up!
